Tri-clamp fittings, also known as tri-clover fittings, are commonly used in professional brewery settings due to the sanitary connection made by using a gasket and clamp to connect two fittings together. These fittings can easily be broken down for cleaning and sanitizing, and do not contain any tricky threads where dirt and bacteria can hide. This particular fitting is a 90 degree 1/2 in. barb fitting. You can attach 1/2 in. tubing to this barb for recirculating, transferring, or whatever you need! Stainless steel concentric clamp reducers allow for the connection of tubing of various sizes. Available in 304 and 316 stainless steel alloys. Unlike the eccentric clamp reducer, this product may cause pooling in process line fittings. Tri-Clamp style connections offer a quick and easy way to disassemble line processing for access to process media and cleaning solutions.
