This main shutoff gate valve must be used fully open or fully closed in water and compressed air applications. The nonrising stem allows use in locations with limited vertical space.
Gate Valves open by lifting up a large wedged gate out of the path of flow. An ideal feature of the valve provides straight-line fluid flow with minimum restrictions.
