Union metal zinc steel strainer allows for a long lasting durable product that will get the job done effectively. 
Connections: The female threaded side of this adapter will only connect to a male suction hose that is National Pipe Straight Hose (NPSH) or National Pipe Tapered (NPT). For example, PVC or metal pipe fitting.
